East Coast Bays Rugby Annual Golf Day
Well it’s that time of the year when we all need to catch up, hit a couple of golf shots, have some beers and tell a few lies. Also a great way to finish the year and bring your employees along for an end of year celebration!!!!This year it brings a significant difference. With the passing of one of ECB living Legends, Simon “Tang” Moore suddenly in August, we are to remember him with Presentation of the “Tang Cup” to this years winner. Simon was a major part of our club. He started out like so many at U19 through the grades to the Premiers where he amassed 162 Games for our Premier Side. He went on to have a great career with Ernst Young , with becoming a partner a few years ago. He left us suddenly but we will not forget him. This year and beyond will now be a Combined Old Boys Day and the Simon Moore Memorial Golf Day. This year the ECB Old Boys have committed their proceeds to the East Coast Bays Rugby Academy and Gym Program.
